Judith Laredo
3rd dan Instructor
Judith Laredo, 3rd dan, began her Aikido journey more than 28 years ago in 1999. Her primary influence was Tamura Shihan, with whom she had the opportunity to travel extensively and train under, her first teachers were direct students of Tamura Shihan and therefore his Aikido style has had a profound affect on Judith.
She has traveled widely for Aikido, training under the main instructors from Japan and has been on several occasions to Japan to train at Hombu. Her article about the time she spent with Tamura Shihan in Argentina shows her appreciation about the subtleties of Tamura Shihan’s teaching which in turn comes through in Mme Laredo’s own Aikido Classes.
She runs a dojo to the North of Paris and has taught courses in the UK and in France. She is happy to be with the other instructors in March to continue this initiative to spread Peace and understanding with energetic training!
